The Secret Lagoon and the Cudugnon Cave are favorite island hopping destinations in El Nido though these two are often separate parts of island hopping tour options. The Secret Lagoon is kept from view by a enormous limestone karsts and is accessible through a small hole which you may need to dive into to kayak to pass through.
Seven Commandos and Corong-corong Beach
Seven commandos is popular for its rugged appearance as well as the mystery of its name. Some say it was taken from the seven soldiers who drowned in the area while others claim that it was due to its rugged terrain which mimics beaches shown in old war movies. Corong-corong on the other hand is not a popular item on El Nido Tour Packages but this quiet beach is favored by those who want to have some privacy and simply take it slow.

Ive been to El Nido before. I like that place compared to Boracay. It’s not too commercialized and crowded like Boracay. I’m looking forward to go back to El Nido this year. 🙂
