So, with that in mind, you might be interested in booking somewhere with a pool so that you can cool off in the mid-afternoon sun.
Shop until you drop
If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a bit of retail therapy, you may have just found your haven in Kuala Lumpur. The city boasts a huge amount of different shopping experiences, from small local markets to huge malls selling designer clothes. The Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is one of the largest malls, accounting for an impressive 1.37 million square feet of shopping heaven! It opened in 2007 and has earned a reputation for being one of the trendiest places to come and shop in. If you want to combine a shopping trip with visiting a landmark, look no further than the Suria KLCC. It’s a huge mall and dining district located at the bottom of the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers.
Enjoy fine dining
Kuala Lumpur has a very vibrant food scene due to it being a kind of melting pot for people of all cultures. Luxury restaurant Lafite offers European-style dining in a chic setting, whilst Indochinese offering Tamarind Springs is located amongst the Ampang district. Expect beautiful interiors and impeccable service at most of the restaurants in the city, and be sure to eat your way around the world. If you are attending an event of sorts, you can even book private dining at many of the city centre’s eateries. Your hotel will often have a luxury restaurant attached too, so make sure to eat there at least once on your trip.
